What Vision Plans Do We Take? 

- We accept Eyemed: Insight and Advantage Plans.

- We are not full providers for VSP (Vision Service Plan). You can pay us out of pocket, then we will more than happy to bill the insurance for you for a reimbursement according to your plan. VSP members also receive a 15% discount when getting glasses with us.

Our Hours?

Monday: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Tuesday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Wednesday: 9:00am - 6:00pm

Thursday: 9:00am - 6:00pm

Friday: 9:00am - 3:00pm

Saturday and Sunday: Closed.

Where are we located?

-We are located at 312 N. Lincoln Rd. Escanaba, MI 49829. 

-We share a building space with Cricket Wireless and Maytag Laundry.

How Do I get Scheduled?/ Are We Taking New Patients?

-Give us a call to schedule your eye exam today!

-We are currently taking new patients. 

- We typically book out about 2-3 weeks at a time.

 What Kind Of Medical Insurance Do We Take?/ Will It Cover My Exam?
  -We take Blue Cross Blue Shield. 

  -We also take Medicare. 

  -We do not take UPHP. 

  -Medical insurance will cover a complete diabetic exam, and any medical                                        testing needed for eye conditions.  However, it will not cover a basic eye exam with     

    no abnormal findings.

Does Dr. Gartland Treat Eye Infections/ Take Emergency Cases?
-Yes, Dr. Gartland takes eye infections cases, and can help with a treatment plan. 
-Dr. Gartland also deals with all types of emergency cases!
-Examples of Emergencies...
     - Metal or any substance stuck in eye.
     - Sudden vision loss. 
     - Anything accident related including cuts, chemicals, and bleeding.
